The Cool Point Hotel opened since 1995. Forty-eight rooms in the centre of Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands. The same Malay-Muslim family has run it the whole time.

We have seen Cameron Highlands change through tourism booms, economic downturns, the pandemic years, and shifting travel trends. Through all of it, we kept operating the same way: practical, fair, and consistent.

Clean rooms. Reasonable rates. Parking out front. A front desk you can call. A location that lets guests walk around Tanah Rata without depending entirely on a car.

We are not a luxury resort built for photos. We are not a faceless chain managed from Kuala Lumpur.
